Hydrogeological maps of various scales have been produced for the region, including the African hydrogeological map, the SADC hydrogeological map and country hydrogeological maps. The SADC-GMI intends exploring means of making these useful resources available to managers, practitioners and researchers using modern technologies such as smartphone applications. The maps are to be available at a high resolution and in a format compatible with Geographical Information Systems and similar software.
