The SADC-GMI will be offering the Course Borehole sustainable yield test for water supply: From theory to practice”. The original date was from the 12th to the 15th of October 2021, but the course has been postponed to start on the 2nd of November 2021. One of the course objectives is to strengthen theoretical and practical knowledge on techniques and approaches for the determination of sustainable yield of boreholes.

4th SADC Groundwater Conference
The Call for Abstracts for the 4th SADC Groundwater Conference has been extended to 11 October 2021.
The Southern African Community Development Groundwater Management Institute (SADC GMI) in collaboration with its partners will host the 4th SADC Groundwater Conference on 10th – 12th November 2021 under the theme “Towards a Water Secure SADC Groundwater Systems Thinking”.
Preparations for the 2nd Phase of the “Sustainable Groundwater Management in SADC Member States Project
The proposed project builds on an ongoing long-term technical engagement with the Secretariat of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) through its regional technical Centre of Excellence, the SADC Groundwater Management Institute (SADC-GMI).
SADC-GMI has partnered with national, regional and international partners and will continue to form strategic partnerships with key players in the water sector in order to advance the groundwater agenda in the region.
